A special way to celebrate any occasion. We have space for both small and large groups up to 50. We can also travel to you.

Workshops & Events
Join us for one of our many fun clay workshops or pottery painting events. Lots of fun for all ages!

Adult Classes
There are so many ways to play with clay! We offer something for everyone’s schedule: workshops, weekly classes and pottery wheel sessions. Our next session will start in March. More information will be available in February.

Youth Classes
The next session of Youth Classes will start in March. There are a few spaces available in the Wednesday and Thursday sessions from 4:30 to 6:15pm if your would like to attend a shorter session, it can be pro-rated. Please call the studio for more information.
About the Studio
The Pottery House Studio was founded by local artist Susan Snyder. When the business outgrew her garage it was moved to Bloomington’s Eastside. Her son named the business because it was originally a house studio. Susan has been teaching pottery to adults and children for over 25 years.

Paint Pottery
Come to the studio and make or paint something in person! Hundreds of items to paint and lots of fun glazes to choose from! Open Tuesdays through Sundays. No appointment necessary.

Learn to Throw on the Wheel
Join us for a fun pottery wheel session on Fridays at 7pm or Saturdays at 1pm or 3:30pm. We can accommodate groups of 4 or more for private sessions. For just $50, you'll receive all materials and 1.5 hours of instruction for your first piece. Each additional piece is $5. This also includes returning to glaze. Open to all ages! No experience required.

Play with Clay
Work with clay at the studio or home and we will fire it for you! Make something fun like your own Chia Pet. Choose from red or white earthenware.
