ADULT POTTERY CLASSES AND WHEEL SESSIONS


Friday and Saturday One-Time Pottery Wheel Sessions

No experience necessary!

Open to all ages. Learn basic steps of centering and throwing on the wheel. Class lasts 1 1/2 hours and includes instruction, materials and use of tools for $50. Bisque and glaze firing is included for one piece and $5 for each piece. A $25 deposit is required to reserve spot. 10 wheels available. Throwing Sessions are Fridays at 7pm and Saturdays at 1pm or 3:30pm.

Pieces are ready to glaze in 2 weeks.

Adult Recurring Classes

Includes instruction for throwing on the wheel, slab, coil and other hand-building technique. Wide selection of glazes and painting techniques provided.

ADULT POTTERY CLASSES, NOVEMBER TO DECEMBER

These classes meet once a week for two hours. In class, you will have access to all studio resources and materials, as well as an instructor who can help you with anything you have in mind. Also included in class is two hours of uninstructed studio free-time each week. Class fees are $210, which covers instruction, materials, and up to 15 pounds of finished, fired work. Additional work can be fired for a small fee. You are welcome to make up any missed classes- contact your instructor for details.

Classes do not meet the week of Thanksgiving.

Monday Evening Intro to Pottery Class

Meets from 7 to 9pm, November 4th to December 16th

Learn the basics of throwing on the pottery wheel and hand-building in this introductory class. Instructor: Becky LaPadula.

BEGINNING AND INTERMEDIATE

Thursday Afternoon Class

Meets from 1pm to 3pm, November 7th to December 19th. This class is open to all skill levels. Instructor: Nina Brochin

Thursday Evening Class

Meets from 7:00 to 9:00pm, November 7th to December 19th. Instructor: Becky LaPadula. There is also the option to do Hand Building with Camryn Greer.

Friday Morning Class

Meets from 10am to Noon, November 8th to December 20th. This class is open to all skill levels. Instructor: Ruth Conway

INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED CLASSES

These 6-week sessions are designed for students that want to build upon their existing pottery skills and already have some experience working with clay. Cost is $210.

Tuesday Evening Class
